The CKEditor-supported question instructions empower authors to tailor the question text according to specific requirements. Additionally, authors can effortlessly embed various media types such as audio, images, and videos directly into the question type.
As this is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) type, it comes with a default set of four options. Authors have the flexibility to delete, rearrange, or add more options as needed, with a minimum requirement of two options.
Similar to other Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms, this feature supports specifying the correct answer. Authors can view the same options they have added and mark the correct answer while assigning points accordingly. Additionally, authors have the flexibility to designate multiple correct answers, each with individual points.
In the scoring section, three types of scoring are applicable to all question types:
Auto-scored: Student responses are automatically scored based on correctness, determined by the author-set correct answer.
Manually scored: Teachers or authors must personally score the question type.
Non-scored: Designed for practice, allowing authors and teachers to assess student responses without assigning scores.
Note: Within auto-scored questions, three scoring options are available—'All or nothing' (requires students to match exact answers for full marks), 'Partial - equal weights' (auto-divides total points among correct responses), and 'Partial - different weights' (allows authors to assign specific points to each correct response individually).
Student interactive settings pertain to how students view and interact with the question type during their attempts.
In addition to the media tools in CKEditor, authors can incorporate additional tools such as a simple calculator, protractor, ruler, etc., which students can utilize while engaging with the question type.
Customizing style and UI involves specific settings that allow authors to modify the UI elements for the question type.
More settings encompass specific configurations tailored to each question type.
Double click the image placeholders to add images. Do the same for any text, then tweak styles and publish.
Authors have the ability to customize the appearance of the question type when it is printed for student handouts.
